Poppy is looking for her new forever home! Poppy is a fun loving pup - we believe she is a mix of Lab (just look at her head!!) and maybe some hound.  She is about 7 months old and 45 pounds.  

Poppy loves to play fetch, run around the yard, and go for walks. Her foster family crate trained her and she sleeps through the night in her crate. She also knows some basic commands but she is a puppy and is easily distracted so she just needs a lot of reinforcement. 

She is very eager to please and learn and would be great with another dog with lots of energy or an only dog with a family that can keep her busy. She would love someone that enjoys the outdoors and would take her with them on adventures.  Poppy walks well on a leash and loves to explore - who wants a hiking partner or  a friend to explore the city??  Poppy is your girl!  

Because of her high energy, Poppy would do best with a fenced yard where she can run around to her heart’s content. This will also help with her housetraining, as that is a work in progress.  Once Poppy has all the focus on her, we believe it will come much faster to her!  Time, love and patience is a must with any dog!
