Silly little Libby is available for adoption!  Libby came to us from a horrible hoarding situation in Texas with some of her family.  They were found abandoned in a trailer full of filth.  Our rescue partners worked their magic there and now she is on her way to finding a home in NY.  Libby is about 7 months old and weighs a mere 5 pounds!  We believe the dogs are chihuahua mixes, with some dachshund and min pin thrown in just for fun!

Libby is a little firecracker!  She is full of playful antics and games.  Libby will definitely need another little dog in her new home - she is very social with them and loves to cuddle and play.  She is still just a baby so housetraining is a work in progress.  She does go outside and also uses potty pads in her foster home.  Libby has a fully fenced yard in her foster home and will require one in her new home too (no invisible fences),  She has not been introduced to a leash yet.  As we said, she LOVES other dogs and loves to play!  Her favorite game with her foster mom is catch me if you can outside because she doesn't want to go in.  But we have learned that some cheese is a good way to bribe her to come inside!  Libby is fine with cats.  She is very small so no large dogs please and kids must be older and respectful of her tiny stature.  Libby is a noisy little dog so apartments are not an option for her.  Libby was nervous with people when she first arrived but has come so far - she may need a few days to adjust to her new home so please have some patience for our tiny little princess!  

Libby is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She does have a couple of retained baby teeth that may need extraction at some point in the future if they do not fall out on their own.  Her adoption fee is $400 - please apply if you are interested in giving Libby the best life ever!
