Oh Mr Noodles! This friendly little guy is looking for his forever home. Will it be you? Do you have the energy to keep up with this guy? Like many of our fosters, Mr Noodles came to us from Texas. We have no back story on this guy, but really all we care about is his future.

Mr Noodles is an 18-24 month old PBGV we believe - they are a fun breed not often found in rescue!. This guy is all about the play. He loves to shred the toys. He will run laps full speed in his foster families backyard. He’s a very active dog. Even with the other dogs to play with, Noodles tends to be the last to settle down. A couch potato, he is not! He needs a home that will keep his mind, and body, busy in order to tire him out. He can be a little stubborn at times. If Noodles is outside, he has a tendency to look at you, then run the opposite direction. If you walk away from him though, Noodles will come right back in. He thinks everything is a game. He will fetch the toys then want you to chase him to get it back. But again if you ignore him, Noodles will bring it right to you.  Due to his energy level, a fully fenced yard is required for him.

Noodles loves everyone he meets. This crazy boy is full of kisses. He’s been known to leap onto the couch to shower his foster family with kisses. He has been around kids as young as 8, but Noodles is a jumper and when he plays he tends to be mouthy. He should go to a home with older kids (over 10) that can handle him. He is young and needs some basic training and guidance. Noodles is eager to please, so a firm tone goes a long way with him. He still hasn’t quite grown into his body. He’s not sure where his body is at all times. Noodles has been known to trip over his own feet, roll off the couch, and even miss a few steps when going up and down the stairs. Noodles is still working on his house training. He’s doing a great job, but in a new situation we always expect some set backs. Noodles was recently neutered so after a day or so, he should pick up your routine and the marking will stop. Mr Noodles is crate trained. He isn’t a fan of having to go in the crate. If you tell him to “stop” and “sit” he will let you pick him up and put him in the crate. Once in the crate, Noodles is very good. At night he does sleep in bed. He likes to lay across his foster mom all night, or even sleep on her head. Yes, he’s a very silly boy. Noodles does have a very big bark, so an apartment may not be the best home for him. Noodles loves to go for walks, he does pull, and we are working on that. If you are an avid walker or even a hiker, Noodles would be a great companion for you. He should wear a martingale collar when walking so that he doesn’t get loose.
