Buster is a happy little dog that came to us from Texas!  He was found at a shelter with a hole through his leg and he needed medical attention asap!  We believe he was shot at which is not uncommon for a stray dog there.  Buster is about 2 years old and 10 pounds.  He is a dachshund mix.  

Buster had surgery on his leg in March and he has healed up nicely!  He has a scar but other then that, you would never know!  He runs, jumps, plays and does stairs with no issue.  He loves to be outside and loves to play with other dogs.  He would love another playful dog in his home but it is not required.  Buster loves toys and will play with other dogs or just himself.  He likes people and is friendly.  We are happy to say he is not much of a barker in his foster home!  No cats though - he is a big chaser and although his foster mom corrects him, it still happens.  Buster is crate trained and walks on a leash.  He is doing well on his housetraining with few accidents in his foster home but they have happened.  Please expect some additional training for him.  He has not been exposed to kids in his foster home but we do not think it would be an issue for Buster.  Buster comes when he is called and likes to be where his foster mom is when he is inside.  He is a loving, loyal little guy.  

Buster is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $400
