Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie (long coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Small
Learn more about the Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie. Kash is a purebred yorkie that came to us as an owner surrender. He is 1 1/2 years old and only weighs almost 5 pounds. Kash is a typical yorkie! He barks a lot (which is why he is in rescue right now!), He is definitely the fun police - no one can play or run without him yelling at them. Apartments will not be considered for Kash. For the most part, Kash is good with other dogs but every once in awhile that terrierist comes out and he will snap at one of them. Nothing major. He does bark at the cats in the house but does nothing more then that. Kash is crate trained and leash trained. He appears to be housetrained too but please expect accidents as he adjusts. Kash also has a fully fenced yard in his foster home so that helps too. Kash is a sweetie with people after he gets to know them and can be won over with a treat. He loves to go for walks. He loves toys and will play tug o war with his foster mom and some of the dogs in the house. Kash does not live with kids in his foster home but we were told he is not good with them. Kash is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. He is getting retained baby teeth removed on 5/11 but we are accepting applications now. Kash will also be at our event on 5/8 for meet and greets only. His adoption fee is $550 to help with his vet costs and our high medical needs dogs. Please apply on our website if interested!
