Vayu (affectionately called ViVi in her foster home) is a 4 or 5 year old chihuahua!  She is the sweetest girl you’d ever want to meet!  She came to us from Texas after being displaced numerous times and ending up in a shelter.  We are not sure who would not want her as she is the most loving dog in the entire world! 

Her paperwork does show she had heartworm back in 2019.  We have no record of her treatment but she did go our vet and tested negative in March of this year.  Since she was once positive she will need to remain on heartworm preventative year round for her lifetime. 

Vayu gets along with everyone.  She plays with all the dogs in her foster home without issue.  She loves all people and has been around a 9 year old child whom she loved.  She has not been cat tested but we can’t foresee any issues. 

She is completely crate trained and is working on housebreaking.  She will use pee pads occasionally but would prefer to go outside.  She knows what to do but doesn’t ask so you have to pay attention.  She has moved around a lot in a short period of time so I am sure with a regular routine and a forever home she will be just fine.

Vayu is a total lap dog.  She wants belly rubs and kisses.  She sleeps in bed with her foster mom all snuggled under the covers.  She is good in the car and gets very happy when she gets to go somewhere.  She was brought to tractor supply and others homes for socializing and was wonderful to everyone she met.
