Sherman is a dapper little dog!  He is a Schnauzer, about 7 years old and 14 pounds.  Sherman was in a shelter in Texas - he was in desperate need of a dental and our rescue friends got him to us asap.  

Sherman is a well behaved little dog.  He is happy to be near his foster mom as she works from home.  He follows her from room to room.  He loves his little dog beds scattered around the house!  Sherman does well with other little dogs, sometimes he will even play.  He would prefer to snuggle though lol.  Sherman was a cat chaser when he arrived but it has improved.  He still likes to give chase if he sees them outside though.  Sherman gets very excited when he sees his leash and likes to go for walks and car rides.  He is crate trained but does not use if very much in his foster home.  Sherman appears to be housetrained but please expect some adjustment time and accidents as he learns a new routine.  He knows the word outside and is always eager to go. Sherman is social with new people and gladly waits for some attention and love.  He would love  a quieter home where he gets lots of attention.   Sherman will need regular grooming throughout his life so please take that into consideration.  

Sherman is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, tested neg. for heartworm and flea/worm treated.  He has also had a dental and has no more teeth left.  Sherman was also professionally groomed!  His adoption fee is $400 to help with his medical bills.
