Our little lady Lucy is ready for her forever home. Lucy is a local dog that came to us when her previous owner sadly passed away. Lucy was very well loved by her mama and we promised that we would find her a home where she will be just as loved and cared for.

Lucy is a typical shih tzu. She is full of love and happiness. All she wants to do is be anywhere her family is. She doesn’t care if they are cooking dinner, or taking a car ride, or watching TV Lucy just wants to be there. She loves to be perched on the couch right next to her people. At night she is usually sleeping on her foster mothers pillow, or up against her in some way. Lucy loves everyone she meets. She has to greet everyone with a helicopter tail that never stops going in circles; she’s just so happy. Lucy is excellent on a leash and loves to run around the backyard. Lucy tends to follow her furry foster siblings and will do whatever they do. Lucy is not crate trained but that’s ok, she appears to be house broken we always tell people there is an adjustment period so accidents are expected initially. She does have a sensitive tummy and will get herself all worked up when placed in the crate. It is best to leave her out in the house when you are not home. Lucy has been left alone up to 6 hours without any accidents. And overnight she is all about the solid 8-10 hours of sleep before getting up to potty. Lucy does not currently live with cats but we can’t imagine them being an issue for her. She is just a happy go lucky girl who will love anyone. Lucy is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, and tested neg. for heartworm.  She was also recently groomed.  Her adoption fee is $400
