Our beautiful dachshund puppies are now ready for adoption! This litter was surrendered by a breeder.  They are 4 months old, various colors and soft as silk.  

These puppies are typical doxies! They are bold, curious and always up for an adventure!  They are lively little characters with short little legs and long bodies.  The puppies are brave and a little bit stubborn.  They show no fear with anything.   They are very playful - sometimes their play gets out of hand and their foster mom has to break it up lol. The pups love other dogs and love to cuddle together to keep warm.  They do bark at the cats in their foster home.  They can be vocal when they play or when new people come around.  Full disclosure - they are clueless with housetraining.  We have tried everything but it's hard trying to train 4 puppies!  We are happy that they are finally using pee pads.  They do not like cold weather!  They have not been introduced to a leash yet so right now fully fenced yards will be considered first (no invisible fences).  They are just puppies so most of the work of training will land on the families adopting them.  There will be an adjustment period for the puppies as it will be the first time away from their siblings.  

Tom Thumb or Tommy Boy as his foster mom calls him, is the smallest of the litter.  Oh but don't let his little size fool you - he is a big dog down deep!  He will hold his own with his siblings and is quite a scrapper!  He is a big fan of cuddles with his foster mom.  He also loves to pull her shoe laces and pant legs to get her attention.  If there is something the puppies shouldn't be getting into, you know Tommy Boy is going to be the first to find it!  Tommy has such beautiful eyes, you can't stay mad for long!  Tommy Boy would love another little dog to snuggle up to!  He is a wiggle worm who's tail never stops wagging.  

Tom Thumb is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $500 - please apply on our website if you are interested in this cutie!
