Pomeranian / Mixed (long coat) : : Female : : Adult : : Small
Learn more about the Pomeranian. Gigi is available for adoption! Gigi is a stray from Texas, never claimed and nowhere to go so off to Buffalo she came. Gigi is a pretty pom mix - we are not sure with what. Her coat is very soft with gentle curls. She may have some poodle in her but she does shed. We believe she is around 5 - 6 years old. Gigi has been a nice addition to her foster home! She picked up the routine and is doing well. Gigi will put herself in her crate when she is having down time. She can also find spots to hide from her foster brothers and sisters - and with her deep black coat she can be hard to find! She walks on a leash but has a fully fenced yard in her foster home that she loves. Rain, snow or sunshine she will go outside and stay out there for as long as possible. We think she is housetrained as long as she gets outside enough but please expect adjustment time and accidents. Gigi is a bit of a loner - she is friendly and sweet to her foster mom but doesn't need to be near her constantly (which is a nice break!). Like we said, she is crate trained but wants to come out of it on her own. She will give a low growl if she is not ready but if you call her, she comes out on her own. Gigi was given a quick tidy up at the groomer and did well. She will need grooming throughout her life so please keep that in mind. Gigi is fine with the cats in her foster home, on occasion she will bark at them. She has a low bark that surprised her foster mom when she first heard it. She has not been tested with children but at this point, we think if they are older (12+) it should be fine. Gigi is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. She was also given a much needed dental with extractions. Her adoption fee is $400
