Learn more about the Chihuahua. One of the best known blockbuster franchises in the Universe - From comic books to the big screen to new forever homes in Western New York! Pixie Mamas welcomes the X-Men! Mama Mystique was found abandoned in the street, nursing her 2 week old puppies. Our rescue partners in Texas scooped up these undercover super heroes and handed them over to us for safe keeping. Now that they are old enough, they are ready to enter the world and bring exciting new adventures to their families and face bold new challenges like going potty outside, not sleeping in the food bowl, and knowing exactly how many times you need to turn around in a circle before you can properly lay down on the blanket. Given the exceptionally difficult start these babies had, they are super heroes in the truest sense of the word. Mama Mystique faced danger, hunger, pain and fear – and protected her children in those unsafe streets till she was rescued. They fed upon this strength and added their own powers of unconditional love, unbridled joy, and virtually endless puppy energy to the mix. Do you have what it takes to adopt a super hero? Do you have what it takes to love one of the X-Men? Wolverine – what can we even say? He is the most popular and most recognized of the X-Men, with his own movie, merchandise line & comic book series. He is the bad boy every girl’s mama warned her about. He is the rebel & Renaissance man. He is the handsome devil that sneaks into your heart – whether you want him or not. This is our Wolverine as well. Look at that face! From the coal-black tipped ears, smoky eye patches and dark polka dot nose – this boy is a looker! He also has some tiny Dalmatian-looking spots popping up on his back and belly as his markings continue to develop. He is sexy and he knows it. Wolverine is a rough & tumble kind of guy. He is often wrestling with his siblings (holding his own at 4.5 lbs.), dragging his doggie bed across the room, or hiding just beneath the edge of the couch so he can pop out & scare his sisters. He is never in the lead, he is happy being the second-in-command. He gets the glory without the responsibility. He plays hard & then he sleeps hard – the two most important things in a puppy’s life. He will let you hold him – but first he wants to play chase. You have to earn the opportunity to cuddle with such a handsome boy! He has not been tested with cats. As a puppy he is a blank slate – he is a sponge absorbing everything around him at all times. He is not housebroken, although he has started to come outside with the other dogs in his foster home and tries to copy them. He will need training to be his best self. Please be patient while he is learning –he is just a baby. He needs love, attention, and patience. Wolverine has been flea/worm treated, microchipped, dewormed, and given all age-appropriate vaccines. We are unable to get him neutered prior to adoption. Therefore we are requiring a spay/neuter contract to be signed at the time of adoption (the cost of his neuter is included in the adoption fee and fully explained in the contract). His adoption fee is $400
