Nathaniel is available for adoption!  He is a handsome Doberman Pinscher and we believe he is somewhere between 6-8 years old.  Nathaniel came to us from Texas.  He tested positive for heartworm and successfully completed treatment prior to arriving!  He is excited to find his new family in New York!

Nathaniel is a typical Doberman - a wonderful family dog that is loving, affectionate and loyal to his family.  He loves to be near his foster family and his favorite thing to do is going on hikes with them or strolls through town.  Dobermans like exercise!  Nathaniel is good with other dogs and has no issues with cats. He is good with kids but they should be on the sturdier side due to Nathaniel's size.  He is crate trained and and working on his basic training commands.  Nathaniel does like to counter surf so he has to be watched in the kitchen lol.  Nathaniel can be an escape artist too - he just wants to be where his people are but you do have to take precaution with open doors.  His foster family is working diligently with him and continued training in his new home will be needed.  Nathaniel will need to remain on monthly heartworm preventive for the rest of his life.  The cost is approximately $65-100 a year depending on brand.  

Nathaniel is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $350
