Missy is ready for her new home and life to begin!  She is tiny lady, only 5 pounds and she is 10 years old.  Missy came to us with Gizzy but they are not a bonded pair.  Their owner no longer wanted them even though they had  many years of being loyal to her.  Both Missy and Gizzy desperately needed medical care and we were not going to let them suffer any longer.  Missy came to us with pneumonia and needed immediate vet care.  Once she was well, she had a dental with extractions and now she feels like a million bucks!

Missy is a typical chihuahua - she loves to nap!  She can often be found snuggled up under a blanket.  She likes her crate and will go in on her own.  Missy is doing well on her housetraining too.  She also uses pee pads which may be a necessity when winters comes.  She has a fully fenced yard in her foster home and really enjoys sunbathing.  She can walk on a leash though too.  Missy does well with other dogs and will even play once in a while.  She sticks up for herself too if needed.  Missy doesn't mind the cats in her foster home.  She has a deep bark that is surprising for her tiny self.  She always lets her foster mom know when the neighbors are having too much fun!  Although Missy has not been with kids in her foster home, we think 12+ would be fine as long as they are gentle with her.  Missy loves to go for car rides and sits shotgun, hoping for a trip to Tim Hortons and a tim bit! 

Missy  is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She also had a dental.  Her adoption fee is $250 to help with her medical costs.
