Say hello to Tessa!  This pretty girl is about 8 months old and weighs 10 pounds.  She is a terrier mix - probably with Chihuahua.  

Tessa is a smart little dog that has fallen into the routine of her foster home nicely!  She loves to be outside in the summer sun (rainy days not so much).  Tessa has a fully fenced yard in her foster home and we think she should have one in her future home too.  She is good with other dogs and seems to be good with the foster cats in the house.  She will show interest outside but they quickly squash that.  She has not been tested with kids but we do not think there will be an issue.  Tessa is working on basic skills like leash and crate training.  She is coming along on her housetraining too.  She is still a puppy and has been bounced around a bit so you must expect additional training time and accidents as she learns and adjusts.  Tessa is playful with other dogs but will defend herself if she feels she is being picked on.  She's no wallflower!  Tessa will bark if she thinks she hears something that shouldn't be going on so apartments will not be a good idea.  She loves treats and chewies!  Tessa is a beautiful girl ready to blossom in her new home!

Tessa is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $400
