Chappie is a young handsome 3 month old  Pitbull mix puppy. Chappie was rescued along with his brothers and sisters in Texas in hopes of finding their forever homes in NY. 

Chappie is so adorable with his pudgy little body and has the best personality.  He is very playful and his favorite thing in the world is shoe strings. Although he hasn't learned to tie a knot yet, he is an expert at untying them for you. Chappie will play all day if he can but once he is all tired out he does like relaxing with his humans for a bit with some cuddles. Chappie is very food-oriented as you can see from his picture which is a great thing as it makes training that much easier.  He is not shy and his favorite time of day is any time you are making a meal.  He is always happy to volunteer as your taste tester, any chefs out there?  Chappie is such a brute.  He has no fear, takes off headfirst, and crashes into everything but what he lacks in finesse he makes up for in other areas for sure. Chappie is working on housebreaking but it is a  work in progress. We think he will figure it out once he is separated from his sister and can get that one on one attention from you. Chappie is being fostered with dogs of all sizes and cats and has had no issues. At the end of the day, Chappie is just an easy-going boy who just wants to play, eat, sleep and he wants to do it with YOU!! Due to his age Chappie has not had much leash training so if you don’t have a fenced-in yard he will need a lot of work in this area.  He has been well socialized and loved his entire life so he comes with no baggage.  He is a clean slate for you to make into a great companion.  Chappie has been a pleasant young boy in his foster home and if you choose him you're going to get a chubby little cuddler who will love you forever.

Chappie is up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  Due to the Corid 19 Crisis, we were unable to get him neutered prior to adoption.  We are requiring a spay/neuter contract to be signed at the time of adoption (the cost of his neuter is included in the adoption fee and is fully explained in the contract).
