The legendary Jack Cole was a dancer and choreographer, and this Jack Cole will dance right into your heart.  The way he prances and leaps in the air, his namesake would be proud. 

Jack Cole is nearly a perfect dog.  At 2 years old he is in need of a new home because his previous owners just didn't have time for him.  Jack, like many of our rescues, came from Texas to find his perfect forever home. Jack appears to be housebroken, although accidents are expected initially. Jack walks very well on a leash and is also crate trained.  He has no problem relaxing in his crate while you are at work.   Jack is also great in the car.  He is content to sit buckled safely in the back seat as you drive.  In fact, Jack just wants to be anywhere his people are.  He loves to sit on your lap while you work on the computer, or watch TV.  If you are busy doing something else, Jack is close by making sure you are not lonely.  Jack seems to know some basic commands, such as sit.  And since he is a little older, you are passed the chewing stage.  Of course, at 2, he is not quite set in his ways, so he is constantly learning new things in his foster home.  Right now, they are working on "shake".  He is doing pretty well too!  Jack does get along well with other calm dogs, and he doesn't mind sharing a lap with other dogs that are respectful of him.  He would love to be the king of his castle though.  With a nice yard to run in and chase the birds when it's nice out.  He loves to bask in the sunshine as well. If you are a gardener, he would be thrilled to follow you through the yard all spring and summer long.  Jack is a little nervous of new people, but after about 15 min, he warms right up and jumps in your lap.  If you think Jack Cole would be a good fit for your home, make sure you apply.  He will keep your lap and heart warm!
