Learn more about the Catahoula Leopard Dog.

Hello Blue Eyes!  Gilligan is part of the Castaway litter - found in a box, only a couple of days old.  These pups sure were lucky!  We are unsure of the breed mix but we see Catahoula in Gilligan and Ginger and Schnauzer in the other 2.  He is about 3 months old and we think will be more of a medium size dog.

Gilligan is a lover of the great outdoors!  He could be outside in any kind of weather and is not bothered at all.  Bring on the snow Buffalo!  He has a fully fenced yard in his foster home, which he loves.  He gets along well with other dogs and has no issues with cats.  Kids would be fine as he is very friendly and affectionate.  Gilligan has lots of puppy energy to burn off!  He can play an run for hours and then will crash for his puppy naps.  He is crate trained.  We are working with him on housetraining but he will do better once adopted and his family can focus on only him.  Puppies are blank slates that need lots of training and we highly encourage obedience training!  It helps turn adorable puppies into well mannered dogs!

Gilligan is scheduled to be vetted on January 10th but we are accepting applications for him now.  At the time of adoption, he will be neutered,  up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $400
