Learn more about the Scottish Terrier Scottie.

Hi there!  This adorable guy is Tate or Tater Tot (or sometimes Knucklehead lol).  He is about 5 months old and 23 pounds.  We think he is a Scottish Terrier mix.  Tate came to us from Texas where he was abandoned in a trailer park.  We knew we could find this goofy boy a good home here in Buffalo!

Tate is total puppy.  He has lots of energy and likes play play play!  He is good with other dogs and loves people.  He does like to chase the cats outside but responds to correction.  He is learning sit and some other basic commands.  Tate doing well with housetraining but remember he still just a puppy and will need adjustment time in a new home.  He is crate trained but NOT leash trained - he has a fenced yard in his foster home with room to run.  Tate is loveable and social, he can't get enough of his foster mom and loves to be loved.  He is smart and has loads of potential.  Tate will be a great family dog.

Tate is scheduled to be neutered on 9/6 and will be available shortly after that.  He will be neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated upon adoption.  His adoption fee is $400.  If you think you have a home for Tate, please apply on our website!
