Oliver is a 6 yr old, 15 lb wire-haired dachshund mix. Due to no fault of his own, he was returned to us by a past adopter who moved.

Oliver does need some socializing and needs to be able to trust. Patience is the key with him. Once he feels comfortable he's very loving and loyal, a definite Doxie trait. A quieter home would be best for him. Oliver is hesitant of children and men, he will bark at them but does warm up after a while. He gets along with the other dogs in his foster home, not sure about cats. Oliver is house trained, we do tell people to expect accidents until he gets used to the new routine, he is crate trained and leash trained. He likes going for walks.
