Learn more about the Bichon Frise.

Anderson is now ready for adoption!  He is a Bichon/Poodle mix that came to us from a local shelter.  They realized he had medical needs (bladder stones) and reached out to us - and we do not shy away from the dogs that need us the most!  Anderson is approximately 8-9 years old.  Anderson was diagnosed with bladder stones and needed surgery to have them removed.  He has recovered nicely and was cleared for adoption!

Anderson is a low key, laid back guy.  He is crate trained, house trained and leash trained.  He really likes to go for walks and is social with all the people he meets along the way.  Anderson loves to be in his crate and considers it is his bedroom lol. He willingly goes in it to snooze the day away.   He is housetrained and goes to the door when he needs to go outside and will also go out when you ask him.  He also uses pee pads because they are in his foster home for other dogs.  Because of his medical condition, he needs access to water all the time (it helps reduce the stones from reoccurring) and will need someone home to let him out or be allowed to use pee pads.  Anderson will also need to be on a special diet to help prevent the bladder stones from reoccurring.

Anderson is fine with dogs as long as they are low energy like him.  He is not concerned about cats.  Older kids (12+) will be fine as he does not want to be manhandled.  He is very good in the car and loves to be sitting shotgun.  He would make a nice companion for an older, quieter home.  He is a very good listener and champion tv watcher with his foster mom!  He will need regular grooming throughout his life so please take that into consideration.

Anderson is neutered, microchipped, up to date with vaccines, heartworm tested neg. and flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $350 - please apply online if you think you may be a match for Anderson!
