Peachy has been cleared for adoption!  She is looking great and feeling great!  She has put on a couple of much needed pounds and has been groomed, although she prefers the scruffy girl look.  

Peachy has Cushings and will need to remain on a daily medication for the rest of her life.  It costs about $45/month. Peachy loves people and loves to be loved!  She is doing well with the housetraining - her foster home has a fully fenced yard.  She walks on a leash and is good in the car.  Peachy is good with other dogs but she does like to get involved if there are any shenanigans going on.  On occasion, she will chase the house cat but it never leads to anything.  She is good with people and is looking for a home to call her own! With everything this little dog has gone through, she deserves the very best. 

Peachy is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  She also has had a dental and a complete workover for her cushings!  Her adoption fee is $350.  

We would like to introduce our newest little gal Peachy. She is a 5 year old, 8 pound, Maltese mix. Peachy is not so keen right now. She was surrendered to a local animal shelter after law enforcement deemed she did not have proper shelter and confiscated her. Peachy obviously needed medical care. She looks a bit scraggly as she has thinning hair, hair loss, lumps, bumps, bruises, and scars all over. As of now, she has been spayed, brought up to date on vaccinations, had  a dental and a mammary tumor removed. Unfortunately, though that was just a start as per the shelter vet she is going to need further workup by our full service vet very soon. Right now we are following their recommendations by giving her time to heal, lots of love and good food.
