Chihuahua (long coat) : : Male (neutered) : : Adult : : Small
Learn more about the Chihuahua. For those of you that follow us regularly, Teeny Tiny may look familiar. Well, that’s because Tiny came to us from a local shelter, from a hoarding situation. He arrived at the shelter with his family members. They have found their forever home, and now it is Tiny’s turn. Tiny is about 4 years old and about 9 pounds. In the shelter, Tiny was frozen in his kennel. He did make eye contact, but as if to say “please don’t hurt me”. Tiny showed no interest in other dogs let alone toys or even food. One look at his fearful face, we knew he had to become a Pixie, like the others. Since being in his foster home, Tiny has started to bloom. He has started to play with toys and the other dogs. By far, his favorite activity is running and leaping in the yard, while chasing the other dogs. Tiny has a lot to say when his foster mama comes home. He will stand on his back legs and dance for attention and affection. Teeny Tiny is still nervous to be picked up, but he is better each day. We feel that Tiny would do best in a home with another dog to help build his confidence. Since Tiny is fearful of new places, he does need a fenced in yard. Tiny is crate trained and currently working on his house training. Since Tiny enjoys being outside so much, now is the perfect time to help this little guy out. Tiny knows what to do when you take him out, but it’s up to his new family to take him out regularly to prevent accidents. If you think you have the time and patience to help Tiny overcome his tumultuous past, please make sure you apply today. We promise you won’t be disappointed in the love he gives you in return. Tiny is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $350
