The Dude is now available for adoption!  Dude is about 2 years old and just about 7 pounds.  He came from a hoarding situation locally and was very scared at the shelter so when we were asked for help - of course we said yes!

The Dude certainly brightened up as soon as he got into his foster home!  He couldn't wait to give his foster mom a thank you kiss!  He follows her everywhere.  Dude is playful with other dogs and likes toys too.  He's fine with the cats that live there too.  Kids in the 10+ range would be appropriate.  Dude is not housetrained which is not surprising being where he came from so that will need work.  He has a fenced yard in his foster home so that helps.  Walking on a leash is new to him so he will need additional training.  He loves to be outside.  He is not too happy about the crate but eventually settles down.  He prefers to be gated in the kitchen.  The Dude is looking for someone to love him and work with him.  He is eager to please you and looks so dejected when he thinks he did not.  He would love to start his new life soon - he's ready to be the star he should've been from the start!

Dude is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  His adoption fee is $350
