Roger is a playful tiny bean full of curiosity and spunk. He is a 7 month old terrier mix that came here from Texas after being a stray almost all his life. Roger lives in a house currently with other dogs and a cat who he loves to play with all of them. Being a stray most of his life Roger is learning to trust people and everyday gets more and more comfortable with his human parents. He likes to explore outside taking in a lot of new smells and especially experiencing snow was quite a funny site. We have been working on trying to work with Roger to get him to relax when on a leash and have been met with trouble because he becomes very scared and tries to pull to the point of choking himself to get away so he needs a completely physically fenced yard (no Electric fences). Roger is still a puppy so he needs to be let out frequently for potty breaks and goes outside but also came to us pad trained so he does go on pads but doesn’t know when to alert us when he needs to go outside. He enjoys playing with the different stuff toys with his doggy pals and loves his treats. He is a little gentleman when it comes to eating or taking any food or treats as he uses a gentle touch when taking the morsels. Roger currently either sleeps in his dog bed or will cuddle up with his pals on the bed. Roger needs to be in a house with at least one other confident dog as he is still learning and follows the their examples and needs a playmate of course. Couch time is always a good time to snuggle as Roger jumps right up and lays down normally. Roger is becoming more confident everyday but is still timid to the touch at times so he needs a home without small children because fast movements tend to scare him the most. Roger is a loving dog that will steal your heart just like he has stolen ours.

Roger is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm. His adoption fee is $350
