Lovely little Julep - a southern delight.  Julep came to us with her little family of 3 pups.  Sadly she lost most of her litter before she arrived.  Life on the streets is hard and she was so so skinny with very little milk to give her babies.  

Julep got stronger and healthier quickly and she saw her babies get their homes.  She was a very good mama.  It was her turn to get spayed and find her forever home too.  We found out at the time of her spay she was heartworm positive.   Julep has begun heartworm treatment and will  be in our care for the next several months.  She will need to remain on heartworm preventative for the rest of her life.
