This handsome dog is Gunner - he came to us from Texas, another stray dog never claimed.  Gunner is about 2 years old and 14 pounds.  He is a cute little mix of Corgi and JRT we think.  

Gunner is a smart little dog.  He has learned the ropes in his foster home very fast and will pick up a new routine quickly.  He is nicely crate trained.  Gunner is doing well on housetraining - he is recently neutered so there will be an adjustment period and learning curve.  He has a fenced yard in his foster home so if you plan on leash walking him, he would love lots of them.  Gunner is ok with other dogs but he likes to boss the littler ones around a bit.  His foster mom is working with him and he is learning he is not the boss of everyone lol.  Gunner is good with people, kids would be fine.  He is ok with cats but has shown prey drive with other animals so we need to make sure how he does in a new house with other species.  Gunner listens well and has made great strides since he came to NY.  We know he will make a great companion to someone who likes fun little dogs!  

Gunner is now neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, tested neg. for heartworm.  He has also had double cherry eye surgery and has recovered beautifully.  Gunner's adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested in adopting!
