Rico Dico - what a guy you are.  Rico is almost 2 years old and about 18 pounds.  He is a Shih Tzu mix.  Rico was recently surrendered to a shelter due to landlord issues but was severely matted, covered in fleas and clearly uncomfortable.  It was decided rescue was best for Rico and we gladly took him in.  

Rico is a nice little guy.  He loves to be with people and is always up for some loving.  He walks nicely on a leash and is still working on his housetraining skills.  He is getting better but expect accidents and having to reinforce it in his new home.  He was also recently neutered so that will help too.  Rico does well in a crate.  He is fine with other dogs and is even playing a bit with them.  He is fine with cats too!  Rico has lived with kids in the past and loves them! Rico will need grooming throughout his life so please take that into consideration.  We don't want him miserable again!  

Rico is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  He was also groomed.  His adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested.
