This handsome fella is Rhody! He was found absolutely terrified on the side of the road in Texas!  He is a unique reddish color and on the smaller side for a Shepard mix!

Rhody is a very gentle, submissive boy who is eager to please.  He loves other dogs as long as they don’t dominate and play to rough (he is then a bit of a crybaby).  He is doing a great job on housebreaking with a doggy door and fully fenced yard.  Please expect accidents with a new home and routine as he is still a puppy.  Rhody is completely crate trained, working on leash training and sits quietly in the car.  He would be okay with quieter kids in the home but he is still a little on the skittish side so older kids would probably be better.  He would love a fully fenced yard and another confident dog that he can learn from.  Rhody would benefit from a lot of one on one time, continued socialization, positive reinforcement, and formal training to help build his confidence.  He is still a little hand shy but if you get down to his level or invite him on your lap he becomes a little cuddle bug.  If you think this beautiful boy would be a fit for your family please apply.
