Say hello to Sir William aka Willie!  This dapper dude is a 4 year old Silky Terrier who's owner recently passed away.  

Willie is a very nice dog.  He is polite and has nice manners.  Willie was an only dog in his last home but he is doing well with his foster friends.  He is learning to play and dogs his size would be best as the puppies are a little much for him.  He is crate trained and leash trained.  He loves to be outside in the yard as much as possible so a fenced yard would be nice but not required.  Lots of walks would make him happy too.  We were told he is housetrained but he has had a couple of accidents in his foster home so please expect the same.  Please remember his life has been turned upside down and being bounced around doesn't help.  I am sure he will get back into the groove in no time once in his forever home.  While in the shelter, Willie did not like the big rubber hand they use to test the dogs and he snapped when it came towards his food bowl.  But his foster mom has not had any issues with him like that and she can take his bowl and his chewie away.  But we need to let potential adopters know.  

Willie is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg. for heartworm.  Willie will require regular grooming thorough out his life so please keep that in mind.  His adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested.
