Once in a while we feel the need to reintroduce a dog that has been in rescue for a long time. This is the case with Nemo. Nemo has evolved into an great dog in his foster home. He is a fun loving boy who is completely devoted to his family. Nemo loves to play ball and rough house with his people. As soon as you say walk, Nemo is ready to go! He is even traveling in the car well. This leaping little guy will go anywhere with his people. He is crate trained, housebroken, but will use the pee pee pads when the weather is cold or rainy. We have learned that with Nemo, it’s all about how he is introduced to new people. He should not meet new people while on a leash. When on a leash, Nemo feels like he needs to protect his person, but off leash in the comfort of his home or in a safe location, Nemo will quickly jump on everyone’s lap and settle in. He is a typical vocal chihuahua/min pin mix, he will definitely alert you of someone coming into his home. He is still not a fan of small children, something he can’t seem to get over. But he has no problem hanging in his crate kids come over to visit. And for this reason children over the age 13 are best for him. When it comes to other dogs, Nemo does best with those around his size. He loves to wrestle and tumble with his foster fur siblings. If you are looking for a fun loving dog, full of personality, Nemo is your guy!
