Learn more about the Cocker Spaniel.

Please meet Junior, a fun loving cocker mix- he is just over 1 year old and weighs 21 pounds.

Junior is a sweet boy who is always up for some love! He is leash and crate trained - he appears to be housetrained too (please expect some adjustment time). Junior is very active and loves to run and play outside. He is very much a Velcro cocker and follows his foster mom everywhere. Since being in rescue we have noticed that Junior seems to like his possessions ALOT! He will growl and snap when you attempt to take things he likes away from him (resource guarding). For that reason we are asking for an adult only home and for him to be either an only dog OR placed with a dog who is laid back and doesn’t care about toys or things. Due to his behavior issues we would prefer his new owner to have breed experience OR experience with resource guarding as this is not a behavior issue for an inexperienced dog owner. Despite his negative behavior when he is not guarding he is the sweetest dog ever and loves people very much.

Junior is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm. His adoption fee is $350
