This is Cash.  He is a 5 month old Shepard mix who was found on the streets with his 3 siblings  fending for themselves.  Cash is the most playful  of the litter and definitely the most active.  He enjoys people, is very loving but is still a little on the submissive side at times.  He still cowers to fast movements and any grab for or towards his collar but this has gotten so much better just in the short time in rescue. That is all normal behavior for an unsocialized street dog and will continue to improve over time.  We would say Cash is the crybaby of the litter as he is not only the smallest but he will pout and cry if he doesn’t get his way or if he gets yelled at for anything. He does get along with other dogs after a slow introduction but whoever adopts Cash will have to be diligent about keeping him socialized through adult hood as this may become an issue if he is not.  Cash is working on crate training and if he is anything like his siblings will catch on very fast.  He has not had any accidents in the crate and very few in the house but of course a  5 month old puppy is a work in progress.  Cash needs a lot of work on leash training as he has not had much experience.  He has such a huge love for people and is very eager to please those he loves.  We think with time, effort, patience and an effort to keep him social with other dogs that he will be an amazing addition to any family.  We do expect the litter to be on the larger side as they are all around 20-25 lbs at just 5 months old.  We do strongly encourage you to provide formal training for your new family member fairly quickly as it’s much easier to work with a 20 pound puppy then a 50 lb adult.  The litter won’t be ready until the first week of August but we are accepting applications now to get the process started.
