This is Clint.  He is a 4 month old Shepard mix who was found on the streets with his 3 siblings  fending for themselves.  Clint is the shyest of the litter and very submissive.  He enjoys people, is very loving but is on the sensitive side.  He still cowers to fast movements and any grab for or towards his collar.  This is normal behavior for an unsocialized street dog and will improve over time.  He gets along with other dogs and loves to play once he warms up to them.  Clint is working on crate training and if he is anything like his siblings will catch on very fast.  He has not had any accidents in the crate and very few in the house but of course a 4 month old puppy is a work in progress.  Clint needs a lot of work on leash training since he is a little on the shyer side he pretty much lays on his back for most of his “walks”  if that’s what you would like to call them.  Clint doesn’t know any commands as he is still working on confidence and is very sensitive to any form of correction so he will need a patient family who is soft spoken and kind as that is what he responds to best.  Clint has such a huge heart and such a willingness to please his person we think with a little work and helping him build his confidence he will be an amazing addition to any family.  We do expect the litter to be on the larger side as they are all around 20-25 lbs at just 4 months old.  We do strongly encourage you to provide formal training for your new family member fairly quickly as it’s much easier to work with a 20 pound puppy then a 50 lb adult.  The litter won’t be ready until the first week of August but we are accepting applications now to get the process started.
