Zach is the man!  Zach   is a 6 year old Chihuahua mix and 14 pounds,   Zach was recently surrendered to a local shelter when his owners were moving and could not take him and his fur siblings.  Zach became shut down in the shelter.  The shelter staff tried to work with Zach, but with no success.  They knew that Pixie Mamas was the place for him. 

Well sure enough, after being in his foster home for 2 hours, Zach came out of his shell!  He has quickly become a foster favorite.  Zach loves kids, gets along well with other dogs, and is said to have lived with cats in the past.  If you are looking for a companion who will follow you everywhere, Zach is the man.  Zach is not crate trained, but worries, he is fully housebroken!  Zach loves to go for walks and asks to go every day.  If fact, he will sit, stare at you, bark, and beg for you to take him.  He also does very well in the car.  Zach may be slightly older in age but that doesn't slow him down.  He loves to play with his stuffed toys.  Zach will shake them and carry his stuffies everywhere with him.  Once he is tired, Zach will jump on the couch next to you, his body against your leg and his head on his stuffie. Like all Pixie Mama fosters, Zach is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped.  He also tested negative for heartworm.  Zach is ready to go and looking for his forever home.  If you think Zach is your man, please apply.
