The "Planet Pups" came to us from Texas.  Their family was forced to give up 5 of their dogs and if taken to a shelter, it would be immediate euthanization.  Luckily, our friends there reached out to us and we knew we could help these dogs find new homes here.  They are JRT mixes - very sweet and who knows what they could be mixed with!

Neptune is oh so loving.  She loves giving kisses and nothing makes her happier then to see her person walk in the door. She gets super excited and spins around with her tail wagging a mile a minute.  She is crate trained and has been doing wonderful on housebreaking.  Please expect accidents with the transition to a new home.  She does love other dogs but it takes her a day or two to get comfortable with them.  This is not uncommon for dogs coming from a hoarding type situation.  She would be okay with kids as long as they are respectful of her size.  She loves to run outside and would require plenty of exercise.  If you don’t have a fenced in yard lots  of walks would benefit her even in the winter so please take that into consideration before adoption.  She is a wonderful little dog and has shown her foster mom nothing but love.  She will adapt to most households as all she wants is a loving family, a couch to lay on and a person to please.  If you think Neptune would fit in your home please apply.
