Pretty Sage is a 4 year old dachshund, just about 12 pounds.  She was found as a stray, just wandering the streets with a few of her friends!   We thought  she may be pregnant (She's clearly had puppies in the past!) but thankfully she is not!  We did discover though that she is heartworm positive!  She has since gone through treatment but will need to remain on monthly heartworm medicine for the rest of her life.  

Sage is a lovely dog, very sweet and calm.  She is crate trained and leash trained.  She is doing well on her housetraining but please expect accidents.  Sage loves to be near her human and sitting on the couch watching tv is her favorite past time.  She is good with other little dogs and respectful kids are fine.  She lived with cats and had no issues but may need to be reintroduced to them as she has not been around them in awhile.  

Sage is now spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and had heartworm treatment.  Her adoption fee is $400 - please apply online if you are interested.
