They say good things come in small packages and Desi definitely fits that description. Desi is a 2 year old Chihuahua/Doxie mix. She was found as a stray in Texas and is surviving her first cold winter here in Buffalo.

If you are looking for a little friend who will follow you everywhere you go, and who wants nothing more than to snore away as you hold her, look no farther, Desi is your girl. She is just a sweetheart! She loves everyone she meets. Desi is housebroken, crate trained, good with other dogs and kids. She is the perfect family dog. Desi does great on a leash too, just loves to go for walks. We really can't think of anything Desi doesn't enjoy doing. She is the perfect dog for someone who is looking for a companion to hang out with, she promises to make sure you are never lonely. If Desi sounds like the perfect dog for you, make sure you apply for her!

Desi is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if interested!

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   
 
  • We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
