Matilda Lemons - also known as Tilly!  A little chihuahua that was thrown away due to who knows why.  She is about 7 years old and only 6 pounds.  A little Texas rose for all our chihuahua lovers!

Tilly is a typical chihuahua - she loves to snuggle on the couch or in your lap!  She is a happiest under the covers.  Tilly is crate trained and house trained - she will use pads too.  That is kinda expected and necessary in the freezing cold weather of Buffalo!  She is not extremely fond of the leash so a fenced yard or enclosure will be best.  She is fine with cats.  Other small dogs do not bother her.  She tends to guard her food from other dogs so please feeding her seperately from other dogs is best.  Older, respectful kids are ok.  Tilly likes people and will pick a favorite!  

Tilly is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, tested neg for heartworm.  Her adoption fee is $275

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   
 
  • We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
