Sweet as sugar  - that's what Taffy is!  Taffy is about 10 years old and 12 pounds.  She was left at a shelter when her owners moved out of stated and decided not to take her with them.  

Taffy is sweet and loving, she is enjoys attention and affection! She is gentle and low key.  She is good with other small dogs and has no issues with the house cats.  Kids would be fine as long as they are respectful of her size and age - older calmer kids are ideal.   Taffy spent most of her life indoors in a playpen, no outside time.  She uses a pee pad but really enjoys being outside too!    She is leash trained - just trained so she may need a little more work. A fenced yard would be ideal for her so she can finally enjoy being outside instead of trapped inside every day!  It appears that she was used for breeding.  Taffy does not know how to do stairs so she will need someone able to carry her in and out until she learns if there are stairs in the home.  

Taffy needed a lot of medical care and we are happy she finally received it!  She is now spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm.  Taffy had a much needed dental and also had a benign mammary mass removed.  Taffy has also been diagnosed with a heart murmur but no need to panic - she is not on any medication and does not show any symptoms.  Many dogs with murmurs live normal lives and do not need any treatment.
