Hi I’m Nate.  I have to admit I’ve been dealt a pretty crappy hand in life so far so I’m hoping my next adventure is much better.  If you are reading this you must’ve thought my picture was pretty cute-outside appearances can be very misleading.  You see I came from a hoarder house with a lot of dogs just like me.  The humans didn’t have time to love all of us so I don’t really know what this is.  I am afraid of you, your touch makes me nervous and when you reach down to pick me up I freeze.  I’ve not been handled much in my life so this is all very new to me.  I do not bite as I don’t want to harm anyone I mostly try to keep to myself hoping you won’t notice I'm there.  I will require a quiet home with older or no kids.  I have been bullied so I don’t like dogs in my face, they scare me and I growl at them hoping they will go away. Another quiet dog like me would be ok though.  In addition to my fears I also have a bad heart.  I am only 4 years old and I will need a hospice home.  I guess sometimes life isn’t fair.  So now that you have read all the bad things about me I am sure you are thinking.... who would ever want a dog like this?  Well, I can’t answer that but I can tell you that I deserve to know what a loving home is before I die.  I deserve a family to call my own and a bed that is mine.  I deserve to be warm and fed and most of all loved.  I am glad I was not left to die in my old home.  Found in a corner somewhere because they didn’t notice.  I am glad I wasn’t left to die in the shelter, alone on a cold cement floor.  I’m grateful someone took me in and gave me a chance and I am hoping someone like you will give me a home.  Even though my heart murmur is 6/6 I do not have any symptoms.  I can live months and even years just the way I am so please take a chance on me.  Give me a forever home.

Nate is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm.  He has also had his teeth cleaned.  Nate's adoption fee is $150
