Handsome Zeus!  This sweet boy is about 3 years old and 7 pounds!  Zeus came to us from a local shelter, they thought he would do better in a home and he is!  

Zeus is energetic and fun - he likes to run and play!  But he is a typical chihuahua too - loves to nap and cuddle!  Zeus is leash trained and walks nicely with his foster family.  He is not crate trained but he appears to be housebroken (please expect accidents as he adjusts to a new home and routine.)  Zeus gets along well with other dogs and has no issues with cats.  He listens to simple commands and is eager to please.  His foster mom suggests older kids as the fast moves of small kids tend to startle him.  He is getting used to the hustle and bustle of his foster home though!

Zeus is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, tested neg for heartworm, flea/worm treated.  His adoption fee is $300 - please apply on our website if you are interested in adopting!  

2/19 - Zeus received a sponsorship for part of his adoption fee - it is now $250 !

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.   
 
  • We initially contact potential adopters via email with any additional questions or concerns. Please check your spam/junk folders.  

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
