Learn more about the Schnauzer. Meet Madison! Madison arrived in rough shape about 2 months ago. She came all the way up from Texas. There she was found on the streets, and was diagnosed with heartworm. Madison is just over 1 year old and 16 pounds. We think she may be a schnauzer mix but aren't really sure. She is a scruffy dog mix - super cute. Everyone loves scruffy dogs! Madison is housebroken, crate trained, amazing with other dogs and kids. She loves to play. She is so gentle and kind she will be a great addition to just about any family. Madison does have a narrow trachea that causes her to cough when on a leash, even with a harness, so a fenced in yard is required for her. Madison is just the happiest dog. She's always ready to play. If you are busy doing something though, Madison is content to play by herself with toys. She's not destructive, and will not chew things she's not supposed to, and she only barks when excited to eat or if there is something in her yard. If you are looking for the perfect family dog, look no further Madison is it! Madison is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and has also been treated for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $350 - please apply on our website if you are interested in adopting this lovely lady.
