Learn more about the Chihuahua. Introducing Quasi! Quasi found his way into rescue after being brought in as part of a hoarding situation. When he first coming into rescue, Quasi was afraid of people. He has recently learned though, that not all people are bad. He has quickly become his foster mamas shadow. Everywhere she goes, Quasi is sure to be close behind. Quasi is all about the love and snggles, in fact he prefers to lay his head on the pillow next you, or on your lap, than anywhere else. At night time Quasi will jump in bed, nudge your hand, and fall asleep with you holding his paw for comfort. Since Quasi has been around dogs most of his life, he would do best in a home with another dog to help guide him in is new life and adventures. Quasi does appear to be housebroken, but don't be surprised if he has an accident while adjusting to your routine. Quasi does need some help with walking on a leash. Up until this point he has never been on a leash and is very unsure of it. He does catch on quickly and is food motivated so given time and patience, Quasi will learn to enjoy a nice walk in the sun on a warm day. He is learning something new everyday. Now Quasi is even playing with toys! Quasi is a true sweetheart that needs a person to give him the time adjust to life out of a kennel. We can't wait to see what he does next and how his personality blossoms. Quasi is neutered, up to date with vaccines, tested neg for heartworm, microchipped, flea/worm treated. Quasi has been diagnosed with a grade 5 heart murmur. He does not require medication at this point but may someday. Quasi' s adoption fee is $225 just to cover his vetting.
