Sweet senior Romeo.  He is a maltese mix, 13 yrs old and 12 pounds.  To no fault of his own, he is in need of a new home.  Romeo's owner passed away and had nowhere to go. We wouldn't want that to happen to our pets, how could we let it happen to him! We knew someone would want to help this gent out - give him a place to call home in his golden years!  

Romeo is a gentle boy, well mannered and in very good health.  He is nicely leash trained and crate trained.  He appears to be housetrained too but please expect some adjustment time.  Romeo is a lap dog for sure - he would love to spend his days on the couch watching tv with you!  Romeo would be wonderful for a quieter home.  He gets along well with other dogs and no issues with cats.   Romeo gets startled when he is sleeping  - this is common for senior dogs.  Seniors can be deep sleepers and when startled, react in defense.  Because of this we are saying no young children in the house - he just wants a quiet home with no rucus, lol!  If children come to visit, Romeo should be allowed another space to be in.  He only has 4 teeth and has not hurt anyone but still should not be set up to fail.  Ideally he is happiest in an adult only home.  Romeo is a great dog and we love him very much - we want him in the right home! 

Romeo is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm.  His adoption fee is only $100 just to cover his vet visit.  Please apply on our website if you are interested in giving him a home for his golden years!
