This handsome young man is Charlie! He came to us from a shelter and, thanks to cheese, warmed up quickly to his foster mom!! Charlie is about 2 years old and weighs only 10 lbs. We believe he is a handsome mix of Cairn Terrier and yorkie.

Charlie is a sweet boy and loyal to his person! Charlie would do best in a home where there is not a lot of social activity and he would be allowed to take his time to warm up to the family . Once he feels safe he is an extremely loving boy and just wants to be on your lap. He likes playing outside so a fenced yard would be nice but daily walks would be fine too. He can be protective of his person. He is crate trained, leash trained and house trained but we do ask that you understand there could be accidents until he gets used to a new routine. Patience and love is all you'll need to make this little guy happy!! Oh yes, and CHEESE!!!!

Charlie is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated and tested neg for heartworm. His adoption fee is $350. Please apply on our website if you are interested in giving Mr. Charlie a home!

  • If you would like to adopt one of our "Pixies" you must fill out an application- it is the first step in the adoption process and we cannot move forward without a completed application.

  •  We will call your vet's office for a reference - you must call them and give permission to release information to Pixie Mamas Rescue.

  • All animals breeds & ages are 'to our best our knowledge'

  • We DO NOT adopt out of state (including Canada) OR over 1 1/2 hours away from Buffalo, NY. NO exceptions. Please do not apply. (Any travel IN our adoption area is at the discretion of the foster home.)
