Lucky Boy is a handsome long hair chihuahua!  He is about 4 years old and 7 pounds.  Lucky Boy was surrendered to a local shelter with his friend but he was not doing well there - shelters are scary places for little dogs!  So now he is a Pixie!

Lucky Boy is nicely leash trained and enjoys going for walks.  He seems to be housetrained but please expect accidents as he adjusts to a new routine and home.  Lucky is in the process of being crate trained - he does not like it and he will tell you so!  He is friendly to people and enjoys attention - especially if you are sitting on the couch watching tv with him!  Lucky Boy is good with small dogs and no issues with cats.  Large dogs so far have not liked him lol.  Kids are fine as long as they are older and respectful of him.   Lucky Boy tends to protect his food and chewies so you will need to make sure he is supervised.  Lucky Boy has a bald streak on his back - the vet did not see any issues with skin so this is likely a form of alopecia.  It is not that unusual with long hair dogs.  Sometimes, it is due to stress.  But we think he is beautiful!
