This funny little boy is Cashew!  He is a 5 year old dachshund - his owner is moving overseas and could not take him.  So Cashew is now officially a Pixie! 

Cashew is a very sweet and loving dog.  He gets attached to a person very fast and just want to be near them.  His personal dream is to sit on the couch with his person and just binge watch NetFlix all day!  He knows some basic commands like sit, down and stay.  He is leash trained and appears to be housetrained but as we always say - please expect accidents as he adjusts to his new home and routine.  Cashew is learning to be crate trained in his foster home.  He would prefer to snuggle in his foster's bed but her little chihuahuas said no way weiner dog!  Cashew is good with other dogs - smaller ones are better because of the delicate nature of doxie backs!  Kids are ok but they must be respectful to dogs!  He doesn't mind adult cats but kittens are a no no.  Cashew is a lovely gent - wouldn't you like him to be your best friend?

Cashew is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea/worm treated, heartworm neg.  His adoption fee is $375 - please apply on our website if you are interested!
