This tiny little angel is Lyra, a 9 month maltese.  Lyra came to us from a puppy mill and is now living comfortably in a home!  Lyra is just 5 pounds and the cutest little thing!

Although Lyra is very young, just a pup, she has not had the life she should have!  She was locked in a cage - she needed to run and play!  Lyra is adjusting to living in a home!  She loves being with other dogs and is starting to play with them and toys. Lyra is not housetrained - she is beginning to use pee pads but still has accidents.   Initially, she was  timid with people, but is now more comfortable!    She likes to be pet and even brushed a bit.  She will let her foster mom pick her up but does not love being cuddle and kissed yet lol.  Yet!  She loves other dogs and another small one in the home will help her learn!  She has no issues with cats.  Kids would be ok if they are older and respectful of her small size and demeanor. .  Lyra will need a full fenced yard - she is still learning about the leash!    Lyra is a sweet and gentle soul, she just needs some time and patience to let her bloom!  

Lyra is spayed, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, wormed and heartworm neg.  Her adoption fee is $500 - this will not only help with her medical bills but will help all our not so adoptable and high medical needs dogs!  please apply on our website if you are interested in making this tiny little girl your own!
