Meet Emmie. She is a 10 year old shih tzu from a puppy mill. She is a tiny little thing at about 11 pounds and has been bred over and over her entire life! She has lived in a cage and has not been shown any love in her life. She has no idea what it means to be a pet, she has never been hugged or told how good she is. Emmie is not housebroken as she's never lived in a home before but we are working on puppy pad training for now. She is a quiet little girl who doesn't cause any trouble. She is good with other dogs and cats. She would be fine with kids as long as they are respectful of her size. An adult puppy mill rescue does best with another dog in the home to give them a level of comfort and model behavior.   She is now spayed and up to date on shots. She would be absolutely perfect for an apartment as she doesn't require much exercise. Please help us find Emmie her forever home where she will finally know what it's like to be loved!!!
