To all the senior lovers out there!!! Meet Rocky! He is a cockapoo who was dropped off at the shelter by his family at the age of 13! He was very afraid there as you can imagine so our rescue was asked to take him home. He does have some medical issues. He has a partially collapsed trachea but it must be pretty mild as he doesn't really show any symptoms. He also has a grade 4 heart murmur which does not require any treatment at this time. He is a very sweet dog who appears to have been loved very much. He loves loves loves his person and bonds very quickly. He follows you everywhere you go and is the most faithful of companions. He rides well in the car, walks good on a leash and seems to be housebroken. He is fostered with other dogs and cats and does growl at the crazy large breed puppies in the home but otherwise gets along well. He likes to be in your lap and watch TV. We are looking for a hospice home for Rocky. A home where he will be warm and loved for the rest of his days. Rocky is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, heartworm neg, flea/worm treated, has been given a dental. His adoption fee is only $75 - very reduced so that we may be able to find his retirement home!
